Beliefs and values
I do all my work based on the premise that almost everyone is capable of enthusiasm, learning, and of taking responsibility for themselves, and for people in their care. When they do not, it is because circumstances, the system they are a part of, discourages or prevents them.
I believe that nearly any kind of work can be fun and fulfilling, if the circumstances are right.
I believe that knowledge and understanding makes good behavior easier.
I believe you, I and everyone else, have a right to be the best we can be. I believe I can grow as a person by helping you grow as a person, and vice versa.
I believe systems thinking, the process of understanding how things influence each other within a whole, is highly useful for understanding how business organizations work.
I believe in continuous learning as a way of life.
I believe we spend so much of our time working, that we owe it to ourselves to make it fun, a learning experience, and an adventure.
